How to set up IPTV on a Samsung or LG Smart TV

To set up IPTV on a Samsung (Tizen) or LG (webOS) Smart TV, install an IPTV player from the TV's app store, then either enter your Xtream Codes login from your activation message or send us the device ID the player shows. Restart the app and your channels and TV guide load.
What you need
- A Samsung TV (Tizen, 2017 or newer) or LG TV (webOS 4 or newer) connected to the internet
- Your login details from your IPTV Gold activation message
- Your TV remote, and your phone if the player shows a device ID to send us
Login used on this device: Xtream Codes login, or the player's device ID / MAC address
Step by step
Connect the TV to your network
Use an Ethernet cable if you can: it is steadier than Wi-Fi for live sport. On Samsung open Settings › General (Connection on newer models) › Network; on LG open Settings › Network.
Open the TV's app store
Samsung: press Home and open Apps. LG: press Home and open the LG Content Store (Apps on newer models).
Install an IPTV player
Search for the player we recommend on WhatsApp and install it. Player apps are made by other companies; some offer a free trial and then charge their own one-time activation fee, separate from your plan.
Add your login or device ID
If the player has a login form, choose Xtream Codes and enter the server URL, username and password from your activation message. If it shows a device ID or MAC address instead, send us a photo of that screen on WhatsApp.
Restart the player and start watching
Close the app fully and open it again. Live TV, movies and series appear in their own sections. The first load of the TV guide can take a minute.
Your login details, explained
- Xtream Codes login
- A server URL, a username and a password. Most player apps call this “Xtream Codes API” or “Login with Xtream”. It loads live TV, movies, series and the TV guide in one go.
- M3U playlist URL
- One long link that contains your channel list. Use it in players without Xtream Codes support, such as VLC.
- EPG URL
- The TV guide (XMLTV) link. Xtream players load it automatically; with an M3U playlist you may need to paste it separately.
- Portal URL
- Used only by MAG boxes. Send us your box's MAC address on WhatsApp and we link it to your plan.
Your login details are in the activation message we send you on WhatsApp. Keep them private: anyone with them can use your connection, and your plan covers one screen at a time.
What internet speed do I need?
We suggest at least these download speeds for each screen watching at the same time. Test the speed on the device itself.

Tips for a smoother picture
- Turn off the TV's power-saving mode for Wi-Fi so streams don't drop after a few minutes.
- If your TV is older than the versions above, a Fire TV Stick or Android TV box is usually the simpler route.
- Add channels to Favourites in the player so match day starts in two clicks.
Troubleshooting

| The player shows no channels | Check the server URL, username and password against your activation message, or confirm we have your exact device ID. Letters such as O and 0 are easy to mix up. |
| The TV guide is empty | Leave the app on the guide screen for a minute, or refresh the EPG in the player's settings. |
| The app isn't in my TV's store | Store catalogues differ by country and model. Message us your TV model and we'll suggest an alternative. |
